Email Lists are not Authoritative

Subscription in one of these email lists implies no rights or privileges. This allows some occasional benign exceptions to the subscription policies. For example, not all members have email.

Controlling Abuse

Members who abuse these email lists by sending out spam or prohibited speech forms, participating in flame wars, or posting ad-hominem attacks may have their list membership "moderated" at the discretion of the webmaster. If you think a member has done this, please complain to the webmaster. The situation will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Controversial issues may be discussed openly on the soapbox list.
